The PBA Commissioner’s office has approved the trade involving Jackson Corpuz and Aldrech Ramos.
Corpuz is a defensive-minded player who also proved that he can be a two-way player, particularly in this 44th PBA season.
The player who sports different hair color during the Columbian Dyip games averaged 8.11 points and 4.33 rebounds in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup.
Corpuz was one of the PBA rookie aspirants back in the 2014 PBA Draft but went undrafted. Yet, after three years he got a call-up from the then Mahindra Floodbuster (now Columbian Dyip) to join their roster where his PBA dream finally came true.
For Ramos on the other hand, he will re-join the franchise that first acquired him via a trade from the Air 21 Express (now NLEX Road Warriors) back in 2014.
The former fifth overall pick was averaging 7.67 points and 1.33 rebounds.
Magnolia went active in its manpower movement, especially in this third conference. Earlier, they shipped Rob Herndon and Rodney Brondial for Chris Banchero.
Yet, they were unable to defend their third conference crown after they got eliminated by the TNT KaTropa in the quarterfinals round.
