In the second match of the PBA Petron Blaze Saturday Special schedule, it’s the fan-favorite Barangay Ginebra San Miguel against the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters.
Without a doubt, the Gin Kings wanted to reclaim their position in the Governors’ Cup and that’s being the champion. With its lineup slowly becoming all healthy that goal is within reach.
For Phoenix, the team received good news from the league as the Commissioner’s Office has granted Calvin Abueva his wish to join the Fuel Masters in practice. That could give an added motivation to his team as they’re still searching for their first win this conference.
