Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup between the TNT Tropang Giga and the Alaska Aces, scheduled on November 14, 2020, at 4:00 PM.
Tropang Giga’s RR Pogoy was a riddle that the Aces can’t seem to solve on October 11, the last time out these two teams tussled in the PBA court that eventually favored the Bong Ravena-coached team, 100-95.
The Cebuano hotshot sizzled with 10 three-pointers and a career-best 45 points, scoring almost half of TNT’s total score in all of the four quarters.
Jayson Castro played stellarly with 28 points, five rebounds, three steals, and two assists, helping TNT through despite the sidelining of Rayray Parks (nursing a strained calf) during their debut match.
Unfortunately for Alaska, Parks came back to life when he returns to the court. He now averages 20.10 points, 8.20 rebounds, and 2.60 assists per game.
Despite being at a disadvantage, in-need to win back-to-back games to advance to the semis, the Aces are riding on the momentum brought by their recent back-to-back wins heading to the playoffs.
In fact, Alaska won four of its last five games to join many teams (including TNT) finishing the elims at 7-4.
Aces’ Vic Manuel, who averages 15.91 points, 6.00 rebounds, and 2.09 assists per game, seems consistent in their previous matches. Even so, other players like Mike DiGregorio, Robbie Herndon, Jvee Casio, Jeron Teng, and rookie big man Barkley Ebona must step up to force a do-or-die match.
