Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup between the TNT Tropang Giga and the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters, scheduled on November 27, 2020, at 3:45 PM.
Tying the series at 2-2, Bobby Ray Parks Jr. leads all scorers anew with 36 points as the Tropang Giga survived Phoenix, 102-101, and forced a deciding Game 5 in their PBA bubble semifinals duel.
Parks scattered 25 of his game-high 36 points in the second half. Of his total output, 12 was obtained in the fourth period that mainly kept Fuel Masters’ at bay.
Meanwhile, inserted into the starting lineup as part of the adjustments TNT head coach Bong Ravena promised, Jayson Castro scored 17 of his 21 points in the first half. Roger Pogoy and Simon Enciso added 18 and 14 points, respectively, in the wire-to-wire win.
Matthew Wright and the rest of Topex Robinson-head-coached Phoenix valiantly tried to close the series out but fell behind early and even stared at a couple of 17-point deficits in the third quarter.
Wright scored a team-high 34 points in a losing effort. Jason Perkins added 19 points, and Calvin Abueva a dubious near-triple-double of 17 points, 13 rebounds, and eight turnovers before fouling out.
The winning team will face either the first-seeded Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Gin Kings or the fifth-seeded Meralco Bolts in the upcoming PBA finals.
