Here are the live scores, updates, and results of the 2021 PBA Governors’ Cup Semi-Finals between the Magnolia Pambansang Manok Hotshots vs Meralco Bolts scheduled on March 25, 2022, at 6:00 PM.

The Magnolia Pambansang Manok Hotshots leads the series 1-0 against the Meralco Bolts in their Semi-Finals series.

Despite their big 14-point triumph against the Bolts in Game One, the Hotshots still have room for improvement. Chito Victolero, head coach of Magnolia, hopes that his squad avoids slow starts early in the contest. In the first minutes of the matchup, Magnolia finds themselves down by 17 points before turning the tables in the second half of the matchup.

“We need to fix that, kasi lagi kaming slow start eh,” Victolero shared. “Eliminations, first half, slow start, and now, ganun din, so we need to address the situation and do something, because sometimes, hindi namin masasalba yung game.”

Meralco’s Tony Bishop was held to only ten points all throughout the matchup, getting his conference-low. The import played for 40 minutes and grabbed 12 boards.

His second-most lowest output in terms of scoring was also against Magnolia where he tallied only 19 points back in the elimination round of the conference.

Banchero led the team with 16 points while shooting 6-12 from the field while Chris Newsome had eight. Bong Quinto came off from the bench for the Bolts and chipped in 13 points while hitting six of his eight shots.
