The Alaska Aces is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Mahindra Floodbuster at 4:15 P.M. on March 29, 2017 in Mall of Asia Arena.
The Aces is on a hunt of their own version of 3-0 start while the Floodbuster is aiming for a two games winning streak.
For the first time this season, Mahindra’s import James White was able to led his team to its first victory.
White who was also Mahindra’s foreign hire in last year’s Governor’s Cup delivered 30 points and 23 rebounds against the struggling NLEX Road Warriors last Friday.
One noticeable figure in that game stat sheet is that, apart from their import, no locals reached double-digits scoring output.
That should be a concern for coach Gavina especially they’re going to battle Alaska this afternoon.
Alaska on the other hand is feeling comfortable playing with their new import.
Cory Jefferson is averaging 28 points and 14.5 rebounds per outing and he helped coach Alex Compton’s team to a two straight victories.
