Just like what Ginebra did in their second game of the series, they started hot and demonstrated supremacy against the Beermen. However, this is the Finals and playing against the Beermen is not like walking in the park.

The last three-pointer of Ferrer was the last highlight seen by the Gin Kings Fans. Joe Devance delivered the last 2 points of Ginebra in that game which puts them leading 88-87 and then it was all San Miguel until the end.
June Mar Fajardo found its groove in that last few minutes of the final quarter. Apart from doing his scoring damage from inside the paint he also securing the rebounds each time Barangay Ginebra brick their shots.
“The big factor was we were able to get the ball to June Mar, and some of the key players from the perimeter ready to take the shot,” San Miguel coach Leo Austria said.
The Kraken finished the game with another double-double performance output with 17 points and 18 rebounds while teammate Chris Ross chipped in with 24 points and 8 assists who shot a controversial three-pointer late in the fourth quarter.
