The Meralco Bolts are going to gear up and prepare against the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters as they go head-to-head this evening.
In the 2021 Governors’ Cup of the PBA, Meralco reached the Finals once again and was greeted by their rival, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. Just like the previous Finals series against the Gin-Kings, they fell again against Ginebra.
In the same conference, Phoenix did not go deep into the post-season and was immediately taken care of by the Magnolia Hotshots in the quarterfinals where they had a twice-to-beat disadvantage.
The Fuel Masters got defeated by the powerhouse San Miguel Beermen in their recent matchup in an up and down contest.
Encho Serrano had a great performance in his first game in the league, scoring 15 points while hitting seven of his 13 attempts on the floor. Tyler Tio, his draft mate, also had an outstanding game. The rookie had 17 points for the squad.
