The NLEX Road Warriors is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Blackwater Elite at 4:15 P.M. on May 3, 2017 in Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Road Warriors chase for the elusive first win in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup resumes today while the Elite will hang on to its chances for a playoff berth when PBA games resumes today.
Although coach Yeng Guiao’s team is no longer qualified to move to the second round of the second conference still his assignments to improve NLEX continues.
They have added new players in their squad this conference to reinforce them, they have called the service of a former PBA Best Import Wayne Chism but coach Yeng wasn’t able to find formula to deliver them more wins.
The only consolation prize for the Road Warriors is that they’re now playing better as a team and was seen several times that they almost got the victory only fumbled in the later part of the ball-game.
No Mac Belo and Art Dela Cruz for coach Leo Isaac this conference but they got Greg Smith who is one of the best import. The only sad thing is that, those impressive stats he deliver each night only gave one win to the Elite.
“We will play our very best to get a win and boost our chances of making it to the playoffs,” said Blackwater coach Leo Isaac.
