The NLEX Road Warriors is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Mahindra Floodbuster at 4:15 P.M. on March 24, 2017 in Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Both teams will go separate ways after their battle this afternoon. The Road Warriors and the Floodbuster are currently at the bottom of the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup standings at 0-2.
NLEX’s head coach Yeng Guiao is now planning to make a drastic measures if the slump continues. Probably part of that strategy is to extend the playing time of their import, Wayne Chism to 40 minutes or more.
“There’s nothing we can get. We need Wayne inside. I told him that already, and he’s going to play close to 40 minutes or a little bit more. That’s exactly what’s happening,” Guiao said.
Mahindra on the other hand gave the defending champion Rain or Shine a scare last Sunday.
The Floodbuster pushed the game into overtime but unable to finish the game with a win.
They look flat-footed in the extra period especially James White who got several opportunities to seal the game. One of the highlights on that game was the performance of Gary David who scored 13 minutes in just 14 minutes of action.
“El Granada” also knows how to turn back the hands of time and certainly he’s looking forward to continue his best start of the season in today’s game.
