The Purefoods-Star Hotshots is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the NLEX Road Warriors at 7:00 P.M. on March 31, 2017 in Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Star Hotshots is aiming for a three consecutive wins and on the other hand, NLEX is looking to end their three-game losing skid this evening.
Mark Barroca is playing well this second conference and was named as the PBA Player of the Week for the span of March 20-26. Apart from that, he is also named as the starting point guard for the Team Mindanao this upcoming PBA All-Star Mindanao Leg.
Barroca was one of the reasons spoiling the return of Terrence Romeo in their out-of-town game. Barroca and the rest of Star Hotshots puts the Batang Pier’s “Golden Boy” to an awful 27% shooting.
The Road Warriors continue on shuffling their lineups and looking for the right combination in order to stop their losing woes. NLEX is on the verge of repeating their forgetful record last 2017 PBA Philippine Cup standings.

It was earlier reported that NLEX will make a drastic measure if their losing problems continues. We have already seen Wayne Chism played almost 40 minutes in their last game against Mahindra.
Chism was seen exhausted and went flat-footed in that game and the Road Warriors surrendered with 81-89 score.
