The GlobalPort Batang Pier is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Talk ‘N Text KaTropa Texters at 7:00 P.M. on February 6, 2017 in Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The continuation of the best-of-three series between GlobalPort Batang Pier and TNT KaTropa Texters resumes today.
The combination of Terrence Romeo and Stanley Pringle were unstoppable for the KaTropa, however, the Texters able to find ways on defeating Batang Pier.
Apart from the “Slash Brothers” the other GlobalPort player reached in double-digit point is the 41-years-old Mick Pennisi who contributed 14 points.
Closing this game and move to the semi-finals round is what TNT point guard is aiming for.
“They’re always a dangerous opponent, much more in a sudden death. So we’d rather finish it in Game Two. We’ll try out very best to do that,” said TNT chief guard Jayson Castro.
Making others involve in scoring was the key for Talk ‘N Text of getting the W in their Game 1 match-up. Five KaTropa finished in double figures led by Castro with 20 points.
Probably this will be the adjustment of GlobalPort in Game 2 of their series to make everybody get involve in scoring.
