PBA Recap: Alaska Vs NLEX Final Score | 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup

The Alaska Aces spoiled the return of Tony Mitchell in the PBA as they beat the NLEX Road Warriors, 100-87.

Jeron Teng played like an import in this evening’s match as he dropped 20 points and 15 rebounds.

It seems like his routine in his training where he is having another round of exercise to polish his skills. Teng was also named as the Bida Player of the Game.

Tony Mitchell is back in another PBA duty after he secured a green light from the league. In his return he scored 34 points, and grabbed 8 rebounds.

However, he was seen mostly sitting on the bench of NLEX especially in the second half where he got slapped two quick fouls in the third quarter.

Road Warriors assistant head coach Jojo Lastimosa quickly pulled him out from the basketball floor to make sure that he will be still available in the fourth quarter.

Alaska took advantage of the situation and dominated the game in that quarter.

In the fourth period, NLEX rallied back behind the scoring explosion of Mitchell. They cut the deficit to 10 points but that was the closest they can get as the Aces answered back.

The Road Warriors are still win-less out of their three attempts while the Aces are back in .500 winning percentage at 2-2 slate.
