The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel was successful on extending streak to three after they defeated the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters at the Big Dome, 98-89.


Scottie Thompson seems like reminded everyone that apart from his rebounding prowess, he can also produce points as well as deliver assists when it matters the most.

Thompson made 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists in the game and was named as the Best Player of the Game.

Justin Brownlee led the BGSM with his superb 39 points 17 rebounds output.

Ginebra started the game on fire as they open the first quarter with 14-4 run.

Yet, with the urgency to make wins, the Elasto Painters bounce back and gave the Gin Kings a tough time.

At the end of the third quarter, Rain or Shine finally took over the driver seat and was ahead 75-69.

Then at 3:50 mark of the fourth quarter, both teams were tied 89-all. For Rain or Shine, that was the last time they were able to score while the Gin Kings made a 9-0 blast and eventually won the ball-game.

Kwame Alexander paced ROS with his 20 points and 10 rebounds contribution while Gabe Norwood had his best scoring game this conference who finished with 14 points to go along with his three boards and two dimes.
