Alaska Aces’ three-game winning streak was over as Meralco Bolts went unstoppable, 106-78.

Mike Tolomia who was buried deep down in the Rain or Shine lineup and seldom used when he was in his former team, this time he’s explosive.

Coach Norman Black gave the Gilas cadet more playing in time and Tolomia didn’t disappoint as he delivered his career-high of 24 points.

Apart from his points production, Tolomia demonstrated few of his dazzling moves in the final quarter but the most noticeable number in the stat sheers is that he converted 6-of-6 from the three-point area.

Alaska allowed Meralco to go to the free-throw line 29 times where their opponent converted 23. In rebounding, Meralco registred 55 compared to Alaska’s 39.

Allen Durham Strong Drive To The Basket

Allen Durham continued his strong performance and just two rebounds shy for another double-double output. Durham finished with 26 points and 18 rebounds. Ranidel de Ocampo added 10 points in his Meralco debut.

LaDontae Henton led the Aces with 23 points who don’t have solid contribution from his local teammates except for JV Casio. The number one pick of the 2011 draft added 18 points.
