The Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters ended the winning streak of the Blackwater Elite, 103-98.
Matthew Wright went on fire especially in the third quarter of the game where he was once again automatic from the three-point land.
Wright unloaded four treys out of his seven attempts. His total points delivered was 22 along with his 7 rebounds and six assists.
During that Phoenix run, they were able to pile a 19 point lead and shown why they just only twice last conference.
Yet for the Elite they also demonstrated their new image in the league as they learn how to make a comeback. In the later stages of the fourth quarter, Blackwater were able to cut the deficit to only just two points, 98-100.
Blackwater had the chance to tie the game with a three-pointer but the Elite made a costly turnover which also ended their attempt to generate another victory.
Bobby Ray Parks Jr., was limited to only two points in the first half then went aggressive in the second half. He paced Blackwater with 25 points while their import Alex Stepheson added 24 and 18 rebounds.
