The San Miguel is back on the winning tracks after they snatched the victory from the Columbian Dyip, 113-107.


SMB import Dez Wells got his A-game once again and this time around they ended up with a win.

Wells delivered 39 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Beermen. He also helped San Miguel to avoid being swept by the Dyip in the elimination round this season.

June Mar Fajardo also had his Kraken performance as he produced 19 points, 13 rebounds, and three swats.

Newly acquired big-man Mo Tautuaa also made his presence made. Though most of his minutes were focused on stopping Dyip’s import, yet, Big-Mo able to give 10 points and five boards.

Terrence Romeo who played for the first after getting sidelined for several games after their Terrific 12 campaign in Macao scored 12 points along with his five dimes.

Columbian had an early rally and even led as much as 11 points.

However, as the game entered the last five minutes in the fourth quarter, San Miguel able to snatch the driver seat after Alex Cabagnot converted a layup.

After that, SMB got the momentum until the final buzzer was heard.

Columbian’s import Khapri Alston led the squad of coach Johnedel Cardel in scoring with 38 big points plus 25 rebounds.

Juan Miguel Tiongson and CJ Perez finished with 18 points each.
