The San Miguel Beermen able to escape the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok and kept their record perfect, 90-89.

June Mar Fajardo once again was in his “Kraken” mode as he delivered a monstrous double-double performance with his 16 points and 16 rebounds output.

SMB import Dezmine Wells added with 33 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Wells was responsible to put the Beermen ahead after he made a layup at the 2:11 mark in the fourth quarter.
