PBA Recap: San Miguel Vs Alaska Final Score | 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup

The San Miguel Beermen mastery against the Alaska Aces continues as SMB picked up a needed victory, 119-107.

The Aces recalled their original import for this conference but the presence of Chris Daniels wasn’t enough to water out the hot hands of the Beermen.

Alex Cabagnot started to put on a fire in the first quarter as he took charge and carried San Miguel where he scored 16 points.

That was the only quarter where Alaska was on a striking distance as they closed the opening period 27-29 in favor of coach Leo Austria’s group.

Then the succeeding quarters belong to SMB.

Arwind Santos, Charles Rhodes and Marcio Lassiter then later joined the scoring barrage and gave their team as high as 28-point advantage.

In the final quarter, Alaska made their last stand and they were able to trim down the deficit to only 10 points but the Beermen always had their response.

Alex Cabagnot registered his conference-high of 31 points while Charles Rhodes and Marcio Lassiter each had 23 markers.

Chris Banchero paced the Aces with his 26 points and their comeback import Chris Daniels added 23 points and 22 rebounds.

San Miguel has now improved to 2-3 record while the Aces dropped to 4-4.
