Finally the San Miguel Beermen breaks the winning column as they beat the Blackwater Elite, 127-106.
The Beermen took advantage their import-less opponent to make sure that they won’t absorb another defeat that could be their third straight.
Beermen guard Von Pessumal continued where he left-off as he dropped another four three-pointers. He was a total of 12-of-12 from the rainbow territory since their game against the TNT KaTropa several days ago before he missed his last three attempts.
His teammate Marcio Lassiter also caught fire and went almost unstoppable from downtown with his nine treys. Lassiter scored a total of 29 points and was named as the Bida Player of the Game.
SMB lead reached as much 21 points but the Elite able to trim it down to only 10 points as the game entered the last two minutes mark.
However, Lassiter’s hands continue to torch basketball nets as San Miguel were able to regain the momentum.
Blackwater’s import Alex Stepheson who is a 20-20 machine went back to the US for a check-up. His team gave assurance that the man called “the Hercules” will be back in their next game.
Bobby Ray Parks paced Blackwater is scoring with his 23 points along with his 13 rebounds. Michael DiGregorio chipped in with 18 points while Roi Sumang added 17 markers.
