The TNT KaTropa showed no mercy against the Blackwater Elite in their third conference opener, 135-107.
Talk ‘N Text import KJ Mcdaniels continues his scoring explosion in the PBA and logged 41 points and 22 rebounds.
Jayson Castro, on the other hand, flirted a triple-double output where he made 17 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists.
Since from the tip-off, the KaTropa never trailed and was all business. They piled a lead as much as 32 points while there were instances that their opponent wanted to catch-up.
Elite’s import Marqus Blakely was the missing link in Blackwater’s offense who seems not ready to suit up this conference. Blakely isn’t the original import for the coach Aris Dimaunahan squad as they’re waiting for Aaron Fuller to recover from an injury.
Blakely was scoreless in the first half and only attempted two shots in that span. He even got cramps in the fourth quarter despite his dismal showing in both ends of the court.
To fill in the scoring void, Bobby Ray Parks took the offensive player role and made 39 points. Allein Maliksi chipped in with his 15 points and five rebounds.
