The winning streak continues for the TNT KaTropa after they dismantled the Blackwater Elite, 115-97.
Terrence Jones suddenly converted himself from a 40-point scoring machine to a Mr. Triple-Double as he logged another one today.
Jones logged his third triple-double this 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup and tonight he got 36 points, 16 rebounds and 14 assists output.
He was named later as the Best Player of the Game.
In the opening quarter, the Elite shown toughness as they kept the score at 23-25 at the end of the first quarter.
However, in the second quarter, TNT’s long range jumpers started to fall and Jones went aggressive in scoring. That resulted to a double-digit lead.
There are mini-runs made by Blackwater but the KaTropa always had their answers to silence them and pull back their big lead.
Bobby Ray Parks led the Elite with his double-double effort, 21 points and 10 rebounds while teammate Mike Digregorio added 19 points and five rebounds.
Their import Staphon Blair had his 16 points and 16 rebounds production but that was way too far compared to his counterpart.
TNT now improved their record wih 9-1 and still holds the number one spot in the standings while the Elite dropped to 6-4 slate.
