The Talk ‘N Text KaTropa kept their winning streak and now reaches to four as they lambasted the Meralco Bolts, 104-91.
Terrence Jones went hot once again after playing like a point guard during their game against the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel few days ago.
Jones made another forty-point performance in the PBA as he notched 49 points and 18 rebounds.
This is his fourth forty-point output and was enough for him to be named as the Bida Player of the Game.
Coach Norman Black is true to his words that RR Pogoy will be under their watch after his explosive night against the Gin Kings. In this game Pogoy only scored four points after registering his new career-high in their previous assignment.
However, the KaTropa find another shooter and that’s Ryan Reyes who is a deadshot from beyond the rainbow territory. Reyes scored 19 points and 6-of-7 from the behind the arc.
The Bolts has introduced a new import who is a known defensive player. Jimmie Taylor had 13 points and 18 rebounds in his PBA debut.
Taylor replaced Gani Lawal who was reported having an injury.
Chris Newsome had a stellar performance in terms of scoring where he delivered 32 points.
Yet, Newsome and Taylor needed more help from their locals cast if they wanted to pick up more victories.
TNT is now the new leader in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup standings at 6-1 while the Bolts dropped below .500 winning percentage at 3-4 slate.
