The Barangay Ginebra San Miguel has shown no mercy to Alaska Aces when both teams collided in Smart Araneta Coliseum this Sunday.

Gin Kings went victorious with a final score 105-86 and it seems they’re telling everyone that they’re now playoffs ready.

Justin Brownlee lead the “Never-Say-Die” squad with his 28 points and nine rebounds. Nine of those points came from behind-the-arc not to mention the spark he ignited to his teammates as well as to the crowds each time he converted a three-pointer.

For the Aces, their import Antonio Campbell seems lost his shooting touches and appeared like having low in energy. Campbell only contributed six points for coach Tim Cone.

Speaking about energy, Alaska continue to play without their “Beast” Calvin Abueva who is still in indefinite suspension.

Vic Manuel tried to carry his team as he dropped 20 points and four rebounds but the scoring absence of their import is a big factor why they’ve lost back-to-back games.

Alaska now tied with Talk ‘N Text KaTropa having 7-3 slate and at the second spot of the standings while Ginebra improved to 5-5 sharing the fifth position with the GlobalPort Batang Pier.

Both the Gin Kings and the Batang Pier will make a separate ways when they collide on their last game in the elims on July 6. For the Aces, their next assignment will be against the Phoenix Fuel Masters.
