Barangay Ginebra have seen another day and extended their series to Game 4 this coming Saturday after beating Talk ‘N Text KaTropa Texters 125-101.
The “Never-Say-Die” attitude of the Gin Kings was once again if full effect in Game 3.
It seems that coach Tim Cone squad got a clean shooting weapon as the team converted above 50% of their attempts.
For the first time in this series, Barangay Ginebra run-and-gun offense was perfectly executed. Their small-ball lineup outplayed and outrun the tall and strong players of KaTropa.
Justin Brownlee who was a bit struggling in the first two games has finally found his shooting rhythm. Browlee scored 31 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and 4 block shots.
Ginebra import took advantage the absence of Joshua Smith in the paint and exploited the defense of TNT.
Smith who is impressive especially in Game 1 only logged less than 10 minutes in Game 3. He was complaining that he feels something from his shoe that makes him uncomfortable.
Talk ‘N Text team staff checked the said shoe and as was mentioned by PBA sideline reporter that they even removed the sole and found nothing.
The concern right now for TNT is a potential foot injury from its heavyweight foreign hire.

“Jumbotron” only scored four points, his fewest so far this semi-final series.
Apart from TNT import Jayson Castro, Roger Pogoy and Anthony Semerad also seen playing with limited minutes. These three players were instrumental in Game 2 especially Semerad who led KaTropa surging run in the fourth quarter.
Coach Nash Racela seems like he already conceded early in the fourth quarter as he pulled out his usual rotation players and entered Nuyles, Hernandez and Golla.
Coach Tim Cone also responded and he pulled out his starters and put Taha, Helterbrand, Caguioa and Jamito.
