The San Miguel Beermen survived from the 6-0 run unleashed by the Star Hotshots in the final quarter and took a 2-1 semi-finals series lead.
Marcio Lassiter saves the day for the Beermen as he drills a desperation three-pointer and beat the buzzer.
With less than two minutes in the last quarter, San Miguel was still on top 108-104. Chris Ross uses the clock to delay the game.
However, after he decided to make a penetration drive the defense of the Hotshots was in full effect and ended to a turnover.
Star found Ricardo Ratliffe sprinting on the other end of the floor and Hotshots import finished it with an emphatic slam.
That dunk ignited the crowd as well as the Hotshots players and they’re able to add another four points to reclaim the lead to 110-108.

The last ball position belongs to SMB and coach Leo Austria called a time out to draw his offensive strategy.
With under 15 seconds remaining in the ball-game the first basket attempt of the Beermen was a miss but fortunately it landed to the hands of Marcio Lassiter.
With time expiring, Lassiter went one-on-one against Justin Melton and decided to do a step-back three-pointer. The basketball went in using the backboard and the entire San Miguel fans as well as the players started celebrating.
