The name of NorthPort’s guard Robert Bolick has surfaced just several hours after his teammate got dealt with in Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.
The smell of the first professional basketball league in Asia is now in the air as the league is getting closer and closer to opening its 46th season. Just this morning, a huge bombshell got dropped as the PBA trade committee approved a trade deal where Batang Pier’s Christian Standhardinger will switch the place of Greg Slaughter in Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.
Soon after, C-Stan’s teammate, Bolick went to his Twitter account to say good luck to his now-former teammate as Standhardinger make his basketball journey with his new team.
The story didn’t end there as the “BabesBolick” tweet had an instant follow-up and it came from Snow Badua whose trade rumors usually got a high success rate.
Well, this could be possible as the current point guard of the Gin Kings is no longer getting younger though is a proven “Iron Man” of the league as he is now approaching 700 games streak. LA Tenorio will be entering his 15th season on April 9, 2021, or at the start of the All-Filipino conference where they’ll defend their crown.
With Bolick in the Ginebra camp and assuming while Tenorio is still with them, the basketball knowledge passing of the torch will be easy and the Gin Kings supremacy will surely continue and perhaps coach Tim Cone will collect its 3rd grand slam or even more.
