Jerramy King and Russel Escoto might wear the orange and white jersey of the NorthPort Batang Pier in the upcoming 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup.

According to spin.ph, the duo will be shipped to the Pido Jarencio coached squad for Juami Tiongson, Lervin Flores and Joseph Gabayni.

Originally the deal was a two-on-two trade but the papers failed to obtain the approval stamp from the PBA Commissioner’s Office.

To improve it, Flores was added to the exchange players’ transaction.

Also, according to the report, Escoto has approached his current team and expressed that he wanted to be traded as he seeks more playing time.

Escoto is part of the PBA 2016 special draft, a batch that mainly consists of Gilas cadets. The former FEU Tamaraws is one of the best big-men during his draft class.

King on the other hand also expressed to leave Columbian in hopes to join the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. His grandmother who is a longtime fan of the Gin Kings influenced his decision to move to another franchise.

King has proven that he is a steal during the 2015 PBA draft where he was selected by the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters using their 36th pick in the fourth round.

The former Long Beach State standout turn the heads of many followers of the league when he led the Dyip in scoring back in the 43rd season. He only got slowed down after he got injured in the early stages of the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup.
