The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers is scheduled for a sudden-death championship game against the Petron Blaze Spikers at 6:00 P.M. on October 17, 2019 live from the Ynares Sports Center in Pasig City.
The Cargo Movers and the Spikers will make a kill or be killed type of game when the 2019 PSL Invitational Cup will have its last match this year.
Petron is indeed blazing this conference where they were perfect in the double-round eliminations with 6-0.
In the semi-finals, their domination continues and hammered the Foton Tornadoes by winning the first three sets which are good enough to give them entry back to the championship round.
“I would be lying if I say that we don’t want to win the All-Filipino Conference,” said Petron head coach Shaq delos Santos.
“But I’m glad that we are given another chance to redeem ourselves. Being in the finals of the Invitational Conference is a blessing, it is an opportunity to pick up the pieces and become a PSL champion once more.”
For team F2 Logistics, on the other hand, they only absorbed one defeat in the preliminaries with their 5-1 record.
In the semis, they found themselves facing their All-Filipino Finals counterpart, the Cignal HD Spikers.
The first set was dominated by the HD Spikers with 25-22 score then on the next three sets were all Cargo Movers and rewarded with the golden ticket going to the Finals round.
“Thursday will be the moment of truth for both teams,” said F2 Logistics head coach Ramil de Jesus.
“We have to give our best because there won’t be any excuses. We have only one shot at winning the title and there will be no more Game 2 or 3 for us.” he added.
