Gilas Pilipinas is looking to continue its dominance in Southeast Asian Basketball as they tackle with team Myanmar tonight. The Philippine’s squad will try to match the current record of team Malaysia at 2-0 in their Group A bracket.
In their last outing against team Thailand, Gilas seems got surprised how the Thai executed their defense especially how they dominated the offensive boards.
Also, with the addition of Tyler Lamb in Thailand’s roster, the team that usually beaten by Gilas Pilipinas in a blowout now found a legit scorer.
Lamb dropped 17 points despite of playing mostly in foul trouble.
Gilas tried its best to make a separation from its opponent and found it when Lamb committed his last foul with less than five minutes in the final quarter.
After that, the Thai squad had a difficulty finding its go-to-guy in the absence of Lamb.
