Philippines (Mighty Sports) vs South Korea | July 16, 2019 | 2018 William Jones Cup Live Score And Results

The Philippines – Mighty Sports Apparel is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the team South Korea at 5:00 P.M. on July 16, 2019 in Changhua Gymnasium, New Taipei City, Taiwan.

The Mighty Sports Philippines is looking to pick up their fifth straight victories and stay unbeaten in their 2019 William Jones Cup campaign.

Yet, grabbing their fifth victory won’t come easy compared to their first four outings as South Korea will be in their way.

Just like the Philippine squad, the Koreans are also sporting a 4-0 slate. One of the reasons for their success is their naturalized player Ricardo Ratliffe or also known as Ra Gun-ah.

Apart from his basketball skills, Ratliffe is also very much familiar with the Filipino style of play as he was a former import of the Star Hotshots (now Magnolia Hotshots).

Having those details of today’s match, it is obvious that Mighty Sports head coach Charles Tiu considers their scheduled game as too important.

“I call that our championship game. If we take care of business against South Korea, then I think it might be safe to say that we’re a very good team,” said Tiu.

Yesterday, team Philippines dismantled team Canada, 116-87. Fil-Am Jeremiah Gray paced the national team with his 25 points.
