
The 2017 SEABA Championships is over, now it’s time for team Philippines to bring its basketball talents to an international basketball competition specifically to FIBA 3X3 World Cup 2017.
Last 2016 in FIBA 3X3 held in China, the combination of Mark Belo, Karl Dehasa, Russel Escoto and Glenn Khobuntin wasn’t able to deliver the Gold medal to the nation that loves basketball but it ended well as they defeated the physical type of game of team Romania.
This 2017, the nation has assembled another set of players which many said a combination of youth and experience.
Team Philippines will enter the tournament as an 18th seed and will join France, Slovenia, Romania and El Salvador.
France and Slovenia are the two squads which are considered strong teams in Pool B bracket.
Slovenia is currently ranked at number two while France holds the homecourt advantage and also they ranked at number 10.
