Team Philippines took care of its initial assignment in the ongoing FIBA 3X3 World Cup 2017. This time around, they’ll be tested against a team that owns the basketball ground.

Despite the obvious height advantage of team Romania, the #labanpilipinas and #puso mentality was evident on the players that wears color blue jersey.

In the first eight minutes of the game, the score was close until Keifer Ravena converted a basket “na may kasama pang foul” (and-one play). He also converted his free throw which gives team Pilipinas a comfortable 2 points lead.

Then Kobe Paras does the finishing touches as he converted a long two-pointer and a pair of free throws that sealed the game to 21-15.

Their win will surely give them a boost in their next game. Sweeping all of their scheduled games today will give them high chances on qualifying to the next round.
