Team Philippines is scheduled for a head-to-head game against team Russia at 7:00 P.M. on June 11, 2018 in Philippine Arena, Bulacan.
Both the team Russia and team Philippines got its taste of first defeat during day two of the 2018 FIBA 3X3 World Cup. These two teams are looking to sweep their games today in-order to move to the next round of the tournament.
Gilas Pilipinas was poised to snag a victory when they clashed with team Mongolia during their second day last Saturday. After Troy Rosario got pushed from the back that sent him to the floors of the Philippine Arena, Rosario opened the game with a long two-pointer.
As usual, Stanley Pringle uses his first step and amazing dribbling skills to loose his defender and that gave team Philippines and early 8-2 lead. Then team Mongolia made its run as they found their shooting form from behind-the-arc and tied the game to 9-9.
The home-team probably felt the pressure and the visiting team capitilize it by continuing pounding the big-men of Gilas who can’t find their shots inside the post.
Eventually, team Mongolia’s number 3X3 player Tsenguunbayar Gotov found an open two-point jumper as his defender Stanley Pringle got stuck from a screen.
The shot went in and most of the fans present in the biggest arena in Asia went home with heart broken.

Gilas needs to live to its mantra “#PUSO” in their today’s schedule. They’ll be facing not only the favorites in Pool C but one of the favorites to win this year’s championship trophy.
