The Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters will bring former PBA Best Import Awardee Richard Howell to replace their current foreign hire player, Rob Dozier.
Howell helped the TNT Tropang Texters back in 2014 to finish 9-0 in the elimination round and reached the championship round.
After his stint in the PBA, he also played in several teams in Israel and won championship plus several individual awards.
Howell is expected to immediately take the scoring and rebounding slack left by Dozier who averaged 17 points and 14 rebounds in his two games with Phoenix.
The Fuel Masters were 1-1 with Dozier in the lineup. They won in their second conference opener versus the Blackwater Elite then absorbed a defeat in their last Sunday’s match against the TNT KaTropa.
Coach Louie Alas and his entire squad are hoping that their new import arrives before their Friday’s game against the Meralco Bolts.
