The Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the NLEX Road Warriors at 4:30 P.M. on July 12, 2019 live from the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.

A humiliating defeat against the San Miguel Beermen two nights ago where they got lambasted with 108-128 final score. Coach Louie Alas and his wards needed to regroup and punch an important victory in their curtain-raised scheduled match.
Still, Calvin Abueva isn’t available as he is still serving an indefinite suspension. Adding to Phoenix woes, Richard Howell suffered an injury in their last outing.
However, according to coach Alas, their import still able to play.
“He’ll play,” said Alas. “May bone spurs sa knee pero playable.”
Knowing those issues, coach Louie wanted his troops to play basic basketball to snag the needed victory.
“Kailangan lang naming maglaro bilang team,” related Alas. “I mean, we need to help one another, share the basketball, rebound the way we used to and lessen our errors.”
For NLEX on the other hand, probably their main goal in today’s match is to prepare their squad in the upcoming conference.
Yet, you can’t discount the winning attitude of coach Yeng Guiao. The fiery coach doesn’t want a timid player hanging around the floor instead of an all-out person until the final buzzer has sounded.
