Paul Lee was pulled out from the Gilas 5.0 training pool and was replaced by his teammate Allein Maliksi due to an injury.

However, Lee will be suiting up for Star Hotshots this upcoming 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup which will kick-off on March 17.

According Rene Pardo, Star’s board of governor, Lee will have to play in caution to avoid aggravating his injury which he already have even during his Rain or Shine days.

“Makakalaro pa din naman siya sa second conference, alalay lang ng mga PT (physical therapists) namin,” said Pardo on his interview with spin.ph. “Hindi naman siya putol (ligament), may punit lang (tear).”

Paul Lee who was acquired by Star Hotshots via a trade prior to the start of 2017 Philippine Cup who already started practicing with Hotshots.
