The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the NorthPort Batang Pier at 7:00 P.M. on September 20, 2019 live from the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Both the Elasto Painters and the Batang Pier are looking to make a good start in the 11-game 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup tonight at the MOA Arena.

ROS head coach Caloy Garcia has led the Elasto Painters to two semi-finals appearances this 44th PBA season and this third conference they’re hoping that this time around they will find their squad in the Finals.

Yet, coach Caloy went busy during the off-conference working with the Gilas Pilipinas in their 2019 FIBA World Cup campaign. However, Rain or Shine the main secret of their success is their basketball system, so most likely its players and the rest of the coaching staff are practicing their plays while their head coach is away.

This 2019 Governors’ Cup, the Elasto Painters have added Ping Exciminiano in their roster via trade.

For the Batang Pier, on the other hand, coach Pido Jarencio’s team finished as the number two squad in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup but bowed down to the eventual champion, the San Miguel Beermen.

Robert Bolick will resume his role as one of the main offensive weapons of NorthPort after showing great performance in his stint with Gilas.
