The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters at 7:00 P.M. on October 9, 2019 live from the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City.
Both the Elasto Painters and the Fuel Masters are thirsty for a win and wanted to end their respective losing skid. Yet, only one team will be rewarded with a victory when the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup resumes tonight at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Apart from their identical number of victory, both squads are also facing injury issues and these are very important players on their respective ball-clubs.
For Rain or Shine, James Yap’s groin injury bothered him once again which kept him on the bench when they played against the Magnolia Hotshots in their last outing.
Yap got hampered by the same injury where he missed the playoffs last conference.
For Phoenix, on the other hand, their sharpshooter and Gilas veteran Matthew Wright bothered by plantar fasciitis.
Wright who was the hero of their victory against the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel was not on his deadly shooting self when they played against the Meralco Bolts.
Wright only made four points and the result was another defeat for the squad led by coach Louie Alas.
