Renowned balladeer Richard Reynoso may not sing again after he undergone an operation in his thyroid.

Reynoso has gone through the knife after his doctor found cancer cells inside his body.

He is thankful that the six hours operation went successful and he will wait for one to two months and check if he still have his singing voice that helped him propelled to stardom.

“Paminsan-minsan”, “Hindi Ko Kaya”, and “Ale” are some of his popular songs especially during the early 90’s.

“Halehalehoy! It was a successful operation. Dr. Rene Chan and his group did a fantastic job. It took them 6 hours kasi iningatan talaga nila na walang tamaang nerves habang tinatanggal yung thyroid. No lymph nodes present kaya di pa kumakalat yung cancer cells. No hoarseness sa boses ko. Medyo mahapdi lang lumunok but tolerable naman.
