The Pirates are looking to make a bounce back and keep their championship hopes alive while the Red Lions wanted to close it and complete a three-peat.
Without CJ Perez Lyceum is like a ship without their captain. However, this Game 2 the top Pirate is set to return and help his squad to avoid getting eliminated.
In Game 1, San Beda took advantage the Perez-less squad of coach Topix Robinson. Early in the game, they mounted a 20-points lead, 31-11.

The Red Lions had a balanced offensive game to capture Game 1. Robert Bolick got 12 points while Javee Mocon added 14 points.
Mike Harry Nzeusseu took over the slack left by Perez as he lead the Pirates in scoring with 16 points.
