The San Miguel Beermen are looking to make a five-peat in the upcoming 2019 Philippine Cup that might be the reasons why they strengthen their already formidable lineup.
On paper, the Beermen is now unbeatable and if there’s a video game like PBA 2K19 most likely if you simulate San Miguel’s games all may end up to 11-0 in the eliminations round and still be no losses in the playoffs until the championship round.
Yet, still that is in paper and they need to prove that in actuality especially how will they utilize Romeo in their squad.
Last season, when Christian Standhardinger joined the Beermen most PBA fans thought that this will be also the outcome, yet, in the 2018 Commissioner’s Cup they bowed down to Barangay Ginebra and got eliminated by the Alaska Aces in the quarterfinals round of the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup.
The good news for SMB is that the All-Filipino conference is their domain. They have reigned this season-starting tourney for four years now and having their main core plus some upgrades they’re still the favorites.
