The San Miguel Beermen is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters at 4:00 P.M. on October 13, 2020 live from the AUF Sports Arena & Cultural Center in Angeles City, Pampanga.

The Beermen are looking to make a follow-up victory and this around inside the PBA bubble while the Elasto Painters wanted to have a similar or a better finish compared to their 2019 All-Filipino Cup campaign.

SMB head coach Leo Austria is fully aware that without their sixth-time MVP player, June Mar Fajardo their opponents gained some confidence and that makes it tougher if the Beermen to make a six-peat championship in the first conference.

“Without June Mar, it gives some confidence sa mga kalaban namin. That’s the biggest problem,” said Austria.

Yet, San Miguel has proven that they know how to make a living without the “Kraken” just like how they defeated the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok in their Finals rematch during the opening night of the 45th PBA season.

Coach Austria seems like he immediately found a dependable inside presence and that’s Mo Tautuaa and just like Fajardo, he too was a top overall pick in his PBA Draft class.

In that match, Tautuaa has shown that he’s a 20-10 caliber player as he dropped 20 points and 11 rebounds.

For the Elasto Painters, on the other hand, they finished as the number two team after the elimination round of the 2019 All-Filipino tourney.

Coach Caloy Garcia hopes that this year his troops remain healthy for them to reach the PBA promised land once again.
