The San Miguel Beermen is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Terrafirma Dyip at 6:45 P.M. on October 19, 2020 live from the AUF Sports Arena & Cultural Center in Angeles City, Pampanga.

The Beermen are looking to end their two-game slide while the Dyip hopes that this evening they will finally have their first victory inside the PBA bubble.

The Beermen may now start the real effect playing without their sixth-time Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo. “The Kraken” is expected not to return at least this All-Filipino Cup due to an injury he suffered during the off-season.

Apart from that, team SMB will miss the services of former PBA scoring champion Terrence Romeo after the flashy guard dislocated his shoulder during their game against TNT a few days ago.

Romeo already left the league’s bubble for treatment in Manila and according to the agreed-upon conference rules, an exit cannot be revoked.

In short, no Fajardo nor Romeo for the six-peat quest of San Miguel.

For Terrafirma on the other hand, head coach Jonhedel Cardel still fine-tuning his squad and hoping that they will get their correct footing this evening.

“Positive pa rin naman kami,” said the Terrafirma head coach.

“Kaya lang, sa nakikita ko, ‘yung timing pa rin. Hindi pa in sync. Sisikapin lang naming makuha ‘yung timing, rhythm namin as a team. Kapag nakuha namin bukas… malamang magtuloy-tuloy na. Hopefully.”
