The San Miguel Beermen is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Alaska Aces at 5:00 P.M. on September 2, 2017 live from AUF Sports Arena & Cultural Center, Angeles City.
The Aces continue its hunt on finding the first W this conference while the Beermen are looking something bigger, which is the elusive PBA Grand Slam.
So just like that, after got beaten by NLEX Road Warriors, San Miguel is quick to react and immediately replaced their import and will make its debut in Angeles City.
Terik Bridgeman will be replacing Wendell McKines who helped coach Leo Austria’s squad to a three game wins this 2017 PBA Governors’ Cup.
In the past two conferences, San Miguel usually ends up at the top of the eliminations round and only incurred a total of 3 defeats in Philippine Cup and Commissioner’s Cup combined.
Currently, they’ve found themselves at the middle of the pack and probably its lost versus the Road Warriors is a wake up call.
Winter is coming for the Aces and the last time they’ve won was during the summer season. Maybe the change of weather can also bring new luck for coach Alex Compton’s team.
They’re currently at their franchise-worst losing streak at 14. Alaska’s chief bench tactician for sure will bring something new in their table and will be unleashed at the 5 PM out-of-town showdown.
