Hotshots are looking to keep their win-loss record perfect and continue to stay at the top of the 2017 PBA Governors’ Cup standings while the Fuel Masters will prevent a five-game losing skid.

Coach Ariel Vanguardia unleashed his new acquired players against the Meralco Bolts in their last outing and got a positive result as Jeff Chan and Brandon Brown had a combined 65 points output.

Although they gave Meralco a close match but in the end Phoenix still wasn’t able to pull a win after its 2-0 at the start of the third conference.

Keeping their unblemished win-loss card is probably the main priority of coach Chito Victolero especially coming from a two-week break. The Hotshots’ bench tactician understands that they’ll be battling a well-motivated team.

“Their last game, they played very well but the breaks went to Meralco,” said Victolero.

“And coming from a four-game losing streak, they have the will and passion to break that losing streak. So we need to be ready for that,” he added.

Star clashed with the San Miguel Beermen before their long break and they were victorious, 104-98.

Gilas boys Matthew Wright (Phoenix) and Jio Jalalon (Star) already arrived in the Philippines after the nation’s basketball campaign in the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup held in Beirut, Lebanon.

The respective fans of both ball-clubs are hoping to see them suiting up in their PBA jerseys this evening.
