The Talk ‘N Text KaTropa is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the NLEX Road Warriors at 7:00 P.M. on May 22, 2019 live from the Ynares Centre in Antipolo.

Both the KaTropa and the Road Warriors will make their 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup debut this evening at the Ynares Center.

The KaTropa reached the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup semi-final round and was seen displaying a physical game against the San Miguel Beermen.

However, if they were successful on pounding the eventual champion of the All-Filipino conference in the defensive end, their offense seems like on target.

That might be the reason why TNT brought the services of former NBA champion and former teammate of Michael Jordan in the country.

Craig Hodge a member of the Chicago Bulls back in the early 90’s was tapped to help the players of TNT on the art of shooting.

“I put in plenty of work,” Hodges said. “I was a dribbler, ball-handler type guard all along. But when I was 16, my uncle told me I should just practice on catching and shooting the basketball. And it worked for me. It worked to a point to where I was shooting at a 50% clip, and it wasn’t by accident.”

Talk ‘N Text will also introduce a new face in the local pro-league. Terrence Jones who was a former teammate of Anthony Davis in Kentucky and a first round pick during the 2012 NBA Draft.

The Road Warriors on the other hand will also wanted to improve their last conference’s finish.

They were in the borderline on making it to the playoffs but was eliminated by the Alaska Aces for eighth spot.

NLEX will also introduce a new name in the PBA. Curtis Washington will be their foreign hire who will try to send the squad coached by Yeng Guiao to the next level.
