The TNT Tropang Giga (Talk ‘N Text) is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Terrafirma Dyip at 6:45 P.M. on October 13, 2020 live from the AUF Sports Arena & Cultural Center in Angeles City, Pampanga.

The Tropang Giga wanted to notch their second victory inside the PBA bubble while the Dyip wanted to have a good footing as they start their All-Filipino campaign as the league resumes in AUF gymnasium.

The first overall pick of the regular 2019 PBA Draft will finally make its debut this evening and that player is no other than Roosevelt Adams.

Adams’ skills are similar to the 2019 PBA scoring champion CJ Perez. The pair will make a deadly backcourt duo for head coach Johnedel Cardel and expect a high octane type of play considering that they’re still young and athletic.

However, for coach Cardel, seems like he already gave some key points to his talented rookie on how to deal with his first game as a pro.

“I told Roosevelt to let the game come to him and huwag masyadong manggigil,” coach Cardel said.

For Perez on the other hand, he is already a proven scoring machine and the Dyip mentor wanted him to step his game even higher as the game of basketball is a five-on-five sport.

“And of course, CJ is CJ, pero I keep reminding them all na it’s not just about two or three guys. It’s all about playing as a team, lalo na sa defensive end,” said Cardel.

For TNT, they were able to quickly recover during their game versus the Alaska Aces. They were down by as much as 17 points in the opening quarter but that resulted in a Roger Ray Pogoy breakout game.

The former FEU Tamaraws standout dropped a massive 45 points and torched the nets with his 10 triples. Jayson Castro was also spectacular in that match where he also made 28 markers.

Though they got the victory, head coach Bong Ravena is not fully satisfied. He knew that his troops could have done even better.

“Malayo pa, wala pa kami. I mean, sa level na gusto namin. Siguro wala pa sa kalahati,” said the former Rookie of the Year turned head coach.

“Hopefully we can learn from this game and madala namin sa mga next games. So many turnovers and defensive lapses,” added Ravena.
