With his action, his mother ball-club now starts looking for a possible trade. Other teams interested with Romeo services can now package their draft pick especially those first rounder to acquire the high-scoring guard.
“He’s not shown up in our practices for about three weeks now, and he didn’t attend our Christmas party. Hindi ma-contact,” said a TNT insider during his interview with Philstar.
Romeo moved to TNT KaTropa from GlobalPort Batang Pier prior to the start of the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup. In the second conference of the 43rd PBA season, he was seen having a clash with his head coach Pido Jarencio in one of their games.
Likewise, according to the resource person, Romeo’s relationship with his current teammates is now getting sour. He shared one instance during team’s practice where Romeo and RR Pogoy had a near fight situation.
“Hindi rin maganda ang relationship niya sa mga teammates niya, at mahirap i-handle, so the team deemed it better to start looking for any team open to a trade involving Terrence,” the source said.
“Pogoy is a pesky defender even in practice, at napikon si Terrence,” the source added.
Romeo logged 21.4 points, 5.2 assists and a steal a game in 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup. He is the team’s second leading scorer behind their import Marqus Blakely.
