Ateneo Blue Eagles guard Thirdy Ravena got a call-up and was shortlisted in Gilas Pilipinas 12-man roster versus team Qatar.

Ravena will be replacing Rain or Shine Elasto Painters forward Raymond Almazan who got injured last Sunday during Gilas team practice.
Most probably the next man that can be potentially recalled especially to fill-in the guard spot is RR Pogoy of the TNT KaTropa.
Pogoy who already re-joined the national team and was part of the 14-man roster but remains ineligible to suit-up for Gilas since he still have one game suspension to serve.
Ravena is still fresh from leading his Ateneo squad to another championship trophy during the UAAP Season 81. He is also named as the Finals MVP in that Finals round versus the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons.
Thirdy will join Andray Blatche, June Mar Fajardo, Troy Rosario, Jayson Castro, Paul Lee, Marcio Lassiter, Gabe Norwood, Scottie Thompson, Poy Erram, Mark Barroca, and Japeth Aguilar in Doha.
Gilas Pilipinas is currently in a virtual do-or-die game in order for them to qualify to the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China which will kick-off this coming July.
The Gilas Pilipinas vs team Qatar is scheduled on February 22 at 12:00 AM (PHI time).
